To create a safe, nurturing environment where the diversity all students are valued equally in a community of high expectations. We strive to ensure that our students meet or exceed all NCL benchmarks, become creative problem solvers, and demonstrate effective citizenship and social skills.

• As educators, it is our responsibility to meet the needs of each student by utilizing varied instructional strategies and ongoing assessments to ensure academic growth and success.
  
• Students must have opportunities to develop and enhance their technology skills if they are to be prepared for future life experiences in a technological society.
  
• Instruction in Art, Music and Physical Education enhances a child's life by encouraging the development of self-expression, problem solving skills and physical and mental health.
  
• The MHES community must adhere to district, state and federal policies as it takes responsibility for and participates in the discussion-making process planning for the student growth and achievement.
